Rule Joins Athletics Staff

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Caleb Rule has been named Assistant Media Relations Director for Athletics at Augusta State, according to announcement Monday afternoon from Joey Warren, ASU Athletic Media Relations Director.

Rule is a 2011 graduate of Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga., where he earned a B.A. in Mass Communication with a double concentration in Print Media and Broadcast and Electronic Media.

“Caleb is an excellent addition to our staff,” Warren said. “He gained a ton of experience working as an undergrad in the Georgia College SID office and learned from one of the best SID’s in the business there. He has a very strong background in video production and he’ll play a key role as we seek to increase our video content on our website.”

A native of Macon, Ga., Rule will be responsible with aiding in all facets of the media relations operation and will serve as the primary media contact for men’s and women’s cross country, softball and men’s and women’s tennis.
