With rounds of 64-66-70--200 (16-under), Seamus Power (Waterford, Ireland) picked up his first career eGolf Tour victory in his 21st career start, dating back to 2010. Power earned $15,000 for the win, and moved up to No. 7 on the 2012 money list with earnings of $20,893. The former East Tennessee State golfer was the 18- and 36-hole leader at last week's Irish Creek Classic after opening with rounds of 62-70, but posted closing rounds of 73-72 to finish T22 on the week.
With his victory, Power, who now resides in Charlotte, received a one-year, full membership to River Run Country Club. Power will have full club privileges, including use of the golf course, practice facility, swim and tennis facility, and member dining.
Finishing second was Cam Burke (Ontario, Canada). A two-time Canadian Amateur champion, Burke held the event's 18-hole lead after a 10-under 62 on Wednesday, but finished with rounds of 71-69 to notch a career-best runner-up finish. Burke pulled within one of Power's lead with birdies on the first two holes of the final round, but played his next 15 holes in 1-over par before finishing with an inconsequential eagle at the last to post a 14-under total, two shots behind Power. Burke earned $8,000 for his efforts.
Jonas Enander Hedin (Sweden) finished in solo-third place with rounds of 69-68-69--206. The finish was a career-best for Enander Hedin, who played his college golf at nearby UNC Charlotte.
Mitch Krywulycz (Australia) finished in solo-fourth place at 7-under 209. The finish marked the third consecutive top-10 for Krywulycz, who notched a career-best runner-up finish at the Irish Creek Classic just seven days ago.
