Lady Jags Drop Tight Match

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State took four of the six singles points, but failed to win a doubles point to fall 5-4 to Erskine College Monday.

Marina Ferreira took at win at No. 1 singles 1-6, 6-4, 10-7 while Victoria Lindqvist, Roberta Oliveria, and Julie Fontaine all notched straight-set victories.

The Lady Jaguars dropped two doubles matches by an 8-6 score.

Augusta State next heads to Palm Beach Atlantic Thursday, March 8 for a non-conference matchup.
