Rohlfing Named To All-Tournament Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State outside hitter Alex Rohlfing was named to the 2011 Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament Team, the league announced Sunday following the conclusion of the PBC Volleyball Championships.

Rohlfing led the Jaguars to their first tournament win since 2007 by blasting 23 kills to only four errors for a .380 hitting percentage in Friday's dramatic 3-2 victory over USC Aiken. She also tacked on 10 digs for her 11th double-double of the season. She followed that effort with an eight-kill, one-error effort vs. No. 19 Armstrong Atlantic State in the tournament semifinals on Saturday night.

The freshman from Waterloo, Ill. made an immediate impact on the squad, leading the conference in total kills and kills per set for the season. She also ranked 16th in total digs and block assists, and 20th in total blocks to garner PBC Freshman of the Year honors at the league's annual awards banquet Saturday morning.
