Jaguar Invitational This Weekend

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State men's and women's cross country programs will host the annual Jaguar Invitational this Saturday, Oct. 8 at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga.

The Jaguars are set to compete against Coker, Georgia Military, Georgia College, Georgia State, USC Aiken and Young Harris College.

The women kick things off at 8:00 a.m. with a 6K run, with the men to follow at 8:45 a.m., with an 8K race.

"We are excited to host everyone again at Blanchard Woods Park," said Ward. "We expect great competition and, hopefully, continued cool weather for our meet. We would appreciate all the support we can get from the Jaguar fans and local community."

The race will also serve as a pre-regional meet for many high school teams around the state; they will begin a separate event upon completion of the collegiate races.
